About the Role
The HR Lead builds and protects the people systems of the Alberta Homeless Foundation. They own end-to-end hiring (from headhunting to offers), deliver onboarding and ongoing training, and ensure policy, safety, and inclusion standards are met across all teams. Operating with high initiative and minimal oversight, they track HR metrics, nurture a strong team culture, address issues early, and keep records audit-ready—so every volunteer member is supported, compliant, and set up to do their best work.
