About the Role
AHF is seeking a Human Resources Associate to support volunteer recruitment and management. This role focuses on onboarding, maintaining volunteer records, helping improve internal processes, and supporting a positive volunteer experience. You will work closely with leadership to ensure roles are filled, communication is consistent, and volunteer operations are organized.
Requirements
Support volunteer recruitment by coordinating postings and responding to applicants
Help with onboarding steps such as forms, role introductions, and basic training info
Maintain organized volunteer records and track participation
Support internal communication, such as updates, reminders, and scheduling support
Help improve simple HR processes and templates as the organization grows
Strong organization, confidentiality, and communication skills
Experience in HR, administration, or volunteer coordination is an asset
Approximately 5 to 10 hours per week
