About the Role

AHF is seeking a Human Resources Associate to support volunteer recruitment and management. This role focuses on onboarding, maintaining volunteer records, helping improve internal processes, and supporting a positive volunteer experience. You will work closely with leadership to ensure roles are filled, communication is consistent, and volunteer operations are organized.

Requirements

  • Support volunteer recruitment by coordinating postings and responding to applicants

  • Help with onboarding steps such as forms, role introductions, and basic training info

  • Maintain organized volunteer records and track participation

  • Support internal communication, such as updates, reminders, and scheduling support

  • Help improve simple HR processes and templates as the organization grows

  • Strong organization, confidentiality, and communication skills

  • Experience in HR, administration, or volunteer coordination is an asset

  • Approximately 5 to 10 hours per week
